Our founder, President & CEO – Cathy Toth – established Acato Information Management in September 2010 with a passion that good software quality assurance makes lives better for users and for business stakeholders.  


The Company grew out of her work as an autonomous consultant, while raising three children.

She began working in Software Quality Assurance in 1999 and developed an approach that focused on independently determining if the software product really satisfied the end user’s needs, achieved business value, enabled good business decisions. That's how software makes lives better.  


We believe the best way to grow is to pursue excellence in our work and relationships.  Our software professionals embed with their Agile teams to establish processes that sustain product quality and support missions of national priority.   


Acato builds a bridge between technical developers, business managers and end users. Our professionals and engineers have extensive backgrounds in software development. We can talk in the language of the developers and we can talk in the language of the business.
